Book Publication

Have a book idea?

Let us connect you with the perfect publishing editor! Provide details about your book concept, and we’ll handle the rest. The editor who best suits your project will contact you once we’ve made the match. Some scientific books are written by one author or a small group of co-authors, while others have many authors who each contribute a single chapter. These books are often edited by one or more experts in the field and can focus on diverse aspects of a broad topic or similar aspects of a very narrow topic.

A book allows you to share your ideas and discoveries with researchers and students worldwide. Writing or editing a book consolidates years of research into a single, comprehensive volume, enhancing the collective scientific knowledge, advancing your career, and establishing you as an expert in your field. The key factor in deciding to write a book is determining if there is a need – a market – for it. As an expert in your field, you are well-positioned to assess this need. For instance, have you searched for a text to update your students on the latest research but found none? Or do other researchers frequently ask for details about a method you developed? If you answered “yes” to either question, you have likely identified a market.

Types of Scientific Books

Scientific books can vary in their structure. Some are authored by a single writer or a small group of co-authors, while others include contributions from many authors, each responsible for a chapter. One or more field experts often edit these books and can address diverse aspects of a broad topic or similar aspects of a very narrow topic.

Stages of Publication

  1. Initial Discussion: It all begins with a conversation with a Publishing Editor in your field.

  2. Book Proposal: Every great book starts with an idea. Our experienced publishing editors can help shape your idea into a book-worthy concept. Once refined, we ask authors to submit a formal proposal, which may include the working title, the intended audience, contributors, and a timeline for completion.

  3. Prepare Your Manuscript: We guide you throughout the process with templates and instructions to simplify it. We also offer free, multi-language resources to assist you in writing, submitting, and publishing your manuscript in English.

  4. Publish Your Book: Our team of professionals will support your project from manuscript submission to publication. Once your draft manuscript is complete, we will assist with formatting and typesetting to transform your words into a book available in three formats: eBook, Print Book, and My Copy. You can track the status of your book in real-time by signing up for automated notifications through our online tracker.

  5. Share Your Book: To reach the widest possible audience, we employ an effective mix of marketing and promotion. Upon publication, your book will automatically receive a promotional homepage. Authors are also supported in sharing their published book with peers and the broader community.
